The cleansing facial products i've come to love and use almost every day to really clean and rejuvenate my skin. Now, looks aren't everything but a first impression does mean a lot.
When I was in high school I rarely suffered with acne and scaring spots but since I went off to college and the stress built upon me, the stress started appearing on my face, literally. And for girls like me who wear more make-up now then we ever did in our life, you want to take care of your skin and know that you're cleaning every layered of make-up off that you apply to help prevent breakouts and black heads.
The products that I absolutely love and help with my skin are these (links):
These products are my holy grail. I could not speak enough on how much these cleansing facial products have helped reduce my breakouts.
My daily routine:
1) I wash my face with Neutrogena's Oil-Free Acne Wash
2) Take a cleansing towelette to double check I washed all of my face make-up off.
3) Take a cotton ball and dab Neutrogena's Acne Stress Control Toner and I wipe that on my cheeks, forehead, neck, and eyes to close my pores and again take off any excess make-up.
4) Lastly I take Yes to Tomatoes - Daily Repair Treatment and rub that only in the spots I tend to breakout the most; my cheeks, forehead, and chin.
Once every week routine:
I once read that exfoliating your skin all the time doesn't help with breakouts because it causes redness if you scrub hard so I reduced using exfoliating washes to just once a week. And I love St. Ives Apricot Scrub because it smells very yummy and I feel like this scrub is really cleaning my blackheads and minimizing my pores. After I exfoliate, I take a cotton ball and also dab Dickinson's With Hazel Toner to close my pores and smooth & balance my skin.
You can buy these cleansing products at any drug store or Ulta! I bought all my mine from Target City in Downtown Los Angeles.
